Commencing at an altitude of 800 meters in Bhulbhule, the trek gradually ascends to 5,416 meters at the iconic Thorong La Pass. The trail unfolds through lush rice paddies and subtropical forests, evolving into awe-inspiring glacial landscapes. The trek’s pinnacle, Thorong La Pass, sits at a dramatic 5,416 meters/17,769 feet, providing breathtaking panoramic views of the Himalayan giants, including Mt. Dhaulagiri (8,167m), Mt. The adventure kicks off with a drive from Kathmandu to Dharapani, transitioning from the lively cityscape to the serene starting point of your trek. Along the way, you’ll encounter authentic local villages such as Ngadi, Bahundanda, Syange, Jagat, Chamje, and Tal. Further along, you’ll traverse through Chame, Gheru, and Nawal, arriving at Manang. A crucial acclimatization day in Manang prepares you for the higher altitudes. The journey intensifies as you proceed to Thorong High Camp, with an overnight stay in Letdar at 4,250 meters.

After an early morning crossing of the famed Thorong La Pass with sunrise views, you’ll descend to the sacred Muktinath Temple. In Muktinath, explore this revered pilgrimage site, significant to both Hindus and Buddhists. Continuing your trek, you’ll descend through the dramatic Kali Gandaki River valley to Jomsom, the administrative center of the Mustang district. Cost Excludes

  • Nepal Visa Fee: The cost of a 15-day visa upon arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu (currently $30 USD; rates may vary for travelers from certain countries).
  • Pre/Post-Trek Accommodation and Meals: Lodging and meals before the start of your trek and after its conclusion are not part of the package.
  • International Flights: Airfare to and from Nepal is not included.
  • Personal Expenses: Costs for personal items and services such as shopping, snacks, bottled water, hot showers, beverages (including alcohol), Wi-Fi, battery charging, and heating in lodges are excluded.
  • Travel Insurance: You must secure travel insurance that covers high-altitude rescue and evacuation (up to 6,000 meters).
  • Personal Gear: Additional clothing or personal trekking equipment not provided by us.
