Everest View Trek – 11 Days

Upon landing at Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu, a representative will greet you with a warm welcome. You’ll then be transferred to your hotel in a comfortable private vehicle.
Later, you’ll attend a pre-trip meeting where you’ll meet your trekking guide and have the chance to discuss any questions or concerns about your upcoming adventure. This is a great opportunity to clarify details and ensure you’re well-prepared for your trek.

The Thrilling and Exciting flight experience is the part of this adventurous Everest trek which will take to you Tenzing-Hillary Airport, Lukla. Be sure your gear the night before your flight to ensure a smooth start to your Everest Base Camp adventure. You’ll land at Lukla airport early in the morning, where a hearty breakfast in Lukla will kick off your day. Local porters will be ready to assist with your luggage upon arrival, with one porter assigned for every two trekkers.

PS: Your flight to Lukla may take off either from Kathmandu or Manthali. Why? 

Your journey begins with a trek to Phakding. The trail is relatively easy, leading you from Lukla and gently descending along the Dudh Koshi River. As you walk, you’ll reach chheplung village, Chaurikharka and finally Ghat. Continue past the charming village of Ghat, and after a pleasant hike, you’ll reach your destination for the day, Phakding.

After Breakfast, journey begins from Phakding to Namche Bazaar, following the Dudh Koshi River through lush Himalayan pine and cedar forests. The trail features several suspension bridges adorned with prayer flags, adding a touch of spiritual charm to the journey. As you ascend, you’ll reach the Monjo Village in few hours. At the top of Monjo Village, we register our permits and enter into Sagarmatha National Park. The trek becomes increasingly scenic with stunning views of the majestic Himalayas, glacial rivers, and vibrant prayer flags. As you near Jorsalle, the final major settlement before Namche, you’ll navigate a series of steep climbs, which can be challenging but are rewarded with breathtaking vistas and glimpses of local wildlife. Arriving in Namche Bazaar, a historic trading post now transformed into a modern town with internet cafes, diverse local shops, cozy restaurants, and essential trekking supplies, offers a blend of traditional charm and contemporary convenience. Enjoy the vibrant atmosphere of Namche, where you can relax, explore, and prepare for the next stages of your adventure.

Leaving Namche, you’ll embark on the first leg of your Everest Panorama Trek to Thame Village, situated at the end of the ancient Tibetan salt trading route connecting Tibet, Nepal, and India. The 10 km trail leads you through serene landscapes, with a lunch stop at Theshyo Khola.
Thame Village, a quieter alternative to the Everest Base Camp route, offers a peaceful retreat with fewer visitors. Nestled beneath the imposing Kongde Peak, the village provides spectacular mountain views and a glimpse into traditional Sherpa life. Don’t miss the Thame Monastery, the oldest in the Khumbu region, renowned for the Mani Rimdu Festival. Perched on a high cliff, it offers stunning vistas of Ama Dablam, Nuptse, Lhotse, and Everest.
Thame is also the hometown of notable Sherpa mountaineers and Lamas, including Apa Sherpa (21-time Everest summiter), Kami Rita Sherpa (28-time Everest climber and world record holder), Tenzing Norgay Sherpa (one of the first Everest climbers), as well as the famous Lamas Zopa Rinpoche and Lawudo Lama.

Today, we’ll retrace our route back to the junction where the paths to Namche and Syangboche Airport diverge. From there, we’ll ascend to Syangboche Airport (3,780 m/12,402 ft), the highest airport in Nepal. Following this, we’ll embark on a scenic hike to the village of Khumjung (3,790 m/12,430 ft) within Sagarmatha National Park and visit the renowned Khumjung Monastery. This revered site is famously rumored to house a mysterious yeti scalp. Along the way, you’ll have the opportunity to explore Hillary’s School and several historic monasteries, deepening your cultural immersion. For those seeking extra adventure, consider extending your hike to Khunde, another charming village, and visit a local yak farm on your return journey.

This region offers spectacular panoramic views of Everest, Ama Dablam, Lhotse, Nuptse, and other towering peaks, showcasing the stunning Himalayan landscape. If you want, trek to the Everest View Hotel, the highest hotel in the world at 3,962.4 m (13,000 ft), renowned for its unparalleled panoramic views of Mount Everest and the surrounding peaks.

Today, we’ll depart from Khumjung and trek towards Tengboche. The trail features a mix of ascents and descents, weaving through forests, which makes the trek both challenging and rewarding with breathtaking views. Keep an eye out for musk deer, pheasants, and Himalayan Tahr along the way.

We’ll first descend to Phunki Thenga before making a steady climb up to Tengboche. Here, you’ll be treated to stunning vistas of Everest, Nuptse, Lhotse, and Ama Dablam. Additionally, you’ll have the opportunity to visit Tengboche Monastery, the largest Buddhist monastery in the Khumbu region, and witness a traditional prayer ceremony performed by Lamas, either in the morning or evening.

After breakfast, we’ll start our descent back to Namche Bazaar, retracing the scenic trail we traveled earlier. As we cross the suspension bridge at Phunki Thenga, the path ascends through a lush forest, offering a refreshing change of scenery. The verdant environment contrasts beautifully with the high-altitude landscapes we’ve previously encountered, making the hike down to Namche Bazaar an enjoyable and pleasant experience.

Today is our last day trekking in everest region. After breakfast, from vibrant namche bazaar, our trek continues with a scenic descent to Phakding following the banks of Dudh Koshi River. The route follow the gentle uphill and reach Lukla. Rest in Hotel or surrounding lukla bazar, Lukla airport in remaining time.

We follow the same procedure for the return journey as fly from kathmandu to Lukla. Depending on the situation, we fly directly back to Kathmandu or fly to Manthali, followed by a jeep or bus ride to the capital.
Once back in Kathmandu, enjoy a well-deserved rest day. Explore the vibrant Thamel city , renowned for its shopping, dining, and nightlife. Indulge in some last-minute souvenirs, savor a delicious farewell dinner at a fine restaurant, and unwind at a lively club or bar.

After 10 thrilling days of exploration, one of our representatives will escort you to the International Airport for your departure flight.
