After enjoying a delicious breakfast, you will board a domestic flight from Kathmandu to Lukla, marking the beginning of your Luxury Everest Heli Trek. For a more streamlined journey, we offer the option to take a helicopter directly from Kathmandu to Lukla, bypassing the potentially challenging landing at Lukla’s notorious airport.

Once in Lukla, you’ll embark on a leisurely trek through charming nearby villages, where you might encounter other trekkers, local villagers, and yaks with their distinctive jingling bells. The first day’s trek is intentionally relaxed to help you acclimate to the higher altitudes. Follow the well-trodden path into the picturesque Dudh Koshi Valley, and spend a restful night in the village of Phakding, setting the stage for the exciting adventures to come.

Following breakfast, you’ll embark on your trek from Phakding to Namche Bazaar, tracing the course of the Dudh Koshi River through verdant pine and cedar forests. As you cross several suspension bridges festooned with colorful prayer flags, you’ll experience a sense of spiritual connection amidst the natural beauty.

A few hours into the trek, you’ll arrive at Monjo Village, where you’ll need to register your permits and enter Sagarmatha National Park. The journey provides increasingly magnificent views of the Himalayas, glacial rivers, and the vibrant prayer flags fluttering in the breeze. As you approach Jorsalle, the last significant village before Namche, you’ll face a series of challenging ascents after crossing the Hillary Bridge. Upon reaching Namche Bazaar, you’ll find yourself in the vibrant heart of Sherpa culture. Today is a crucial acclimatization day in Namche Bazaar, designed to prevent altitude sickness and ensure your safety. Unlike other Everest Base Camp treks, our itinerary includes a unique overnight stay at the Hotel Everest View, preparing for an upcoming heli ride. After breakfast, we start by exploring Namche Bazaar, a vibrant hub offering trekking gear, local handicrafts, and various accommodations. Our first stop is the Sherpa Cultural Museum, providing insights into Sherpa history and culture.
