In this Tamang Heritage Trail Trek, the jouney begins in Kathmandu, where you’ll drive to Syabrubesi, the starting point of the trek. From here, you begin your hike through lush forests and terraced fields towards the beautiful village of Gatlang. Along the way, you’ll pass through traditional Tamang villages with stone houses and cultivated fields, where the warm-hearted locals will give you a taste of their culture and customs. As you move higher up the trail, you’ll witness panoramic views of the Langtang Lirung and Ganesh Himal mountain ranges, which provide a constant backdrop to your journey.
