I was in a dilemma in choosing a trekking company in Nepal since it was my first time trekking. To be honest, eBc Trails was my instant decision. But it was the best choice that I could’ve made. They are the best trekking agency in Nepal. Personally, I love how the guide was friendly and helpful. From Kathmandu to Khumbu, it felt like I had a friend along with me because he was a very down to earth guy. I might regret saying this as I am planning to go trekking again with EBC but the guide even helped me carry my loads when I was dead-tired and was not able to go forward. Overall, he ensured that I took as much as I could and had the best accommodations available during our stops. FYI, I went with private trekking and eBc helped me understand all the important information, including the itineraries and schedule of the trek. I don’t know if it was my inexperience speaking or what, but from what I could muster up online, eBc Trails is the best trekking company in Nepal, especially if you’re a beginner like me.

Real deal-best experience, no doubt

eBcTrails was brilliant—hands down the best Nepal trekking company I’ve come across! I’d always heard Nepalese are super friendly, and these guys proved it big time. Picked them for my Everest Base Camp trip, and it was a total blast.

The guides were excellent, well-informed and laid-back. Our guide led us through the hike like an expert, sharing details about the mountains and Sherpa culture with such passion that it felt intimate.  He provided excellent attention; one day when my wife was exhausted, he even helped her with her bag. Never felt lost or rushed with them around.

The company itself? Solid. Everything was sorted—pickup, gear, plan—no mess-ups. I felt like they actually gave a damn. Only thing, the tea house stays could’ve been comfier for the kids, but that’s it. For a Nepal trekking company, eBcTrails is the real deal—best experience, no doubt!

I always heard that Nepalese were friendly in nature. And if everyone in Nepal is like people from eBc Trails, then it is a correct saying. I chose eBc to tour in Nepal and experience the cultural heritage masterpiece I’ve always heard about. Personally, I was also keenly interested in Hindu Mythology so I bought their Hindu Pilgrimage tour package for me, my wife and two children (as a whole). It was a wholesome experience. I don’t think I missed out on any temples (Edit: Turns out I had missed out on many), as our guide took us through many of them and explained about each of them with sheer devotion and dedication, like he was defending his thesis. Overall, I think accommodation can be much better, especially if you have children with you but I can say this confidently that they are the best tour company in Nepal.
